By using Spont ("the app", "the service") at spont.social, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Spont is a spontaneous social meetup coordination app. It allows users to create meetup invitations ("Sponts"), invite friends via the app or SMS, and RSVP to events.
3. SMS Messaging Program
Spont sends automated SMS messages to notify users of event invitations. By providing a phone number — either directly on this site or by being added by an organizer — you consent to receive SMS messages from Spont.
Message frequency: Varies. Typically 0–5 messages per week depending on your friends' activity.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.

Message and data rates may apply. Supported carriers include all major US carriers. Carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating an account
- Only add phone numbers of people who have consented to receive SMS messages
- Use the service for lawful purposes only
- Not use the service to spam or harass others
5. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in spam, or misuse the SMS messaging features.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
7. Limitation of Liability
Spont shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
